Cryo Chamber Prices: Factors, Additional Costs, and the Full Picture

The entry price of €49,900 net applies to our electric whole-body cryo chambers. Above that, the following factors mainly apply:

• Model and size within the eCham range.
• Scope of equipment and selected features.
• Color finish: standard, RAL color on request, or custom wrapping.
• Effort required for delivery and moving the unit in on-site.
• Scope of installation, commissioning, and training.

Larger and more powerful systems are designed for higher throughput and more intensive operation. This is reflected in technology, weight, and connection type.

• eCham home, smart, and now: 230 V / 16 A, compact footprint.
• eCham pure and flow: 400 V, each approx. 500 kg.
• eCham max: 400 V, approx. 550 kg, for high-frequency operation.
• eCham vita 5-in-1: 230 V / 16 A, up to 40 sessions per day.

Part of a project's cost arises outside the chamber itself. We check these points before issuing a quote so the calculation holds up.

• Electrical connection: existing 230 V outlet or a new 400 V connection.
• Installation surface: check load-bearing capacity and levelness.
• Delivery: door widths, turns, elevator, or ramp.
• Environment: changing room, preparation area, and waiting zone.

Setup, connection, commissioning, and training are part of the project and are specified in the quote, not added later.

• Functional check and commissioning.
• Hands-on training of the team in operation and workflow.
• Handover of documentation and clarification of open questions.

Running costs essentially consist of three items. A consumable medium is explicitly not one of them.

Electricity

Consumption depends on the model, temperature level, and number of daily sessions. Calculate using your actual industrial electricity rate.

Cleaning

Cleaning and visual inspection can be integrated as a short routine in daily operations and typically require no additional staff.

Maintenance

Intervals depend on usage intensity. We agree on these at the start so availability remains high during operation.

For a solid decision, it's worth looking beyond the purchase price. We recommend combining the following items over the planned useful life:

• One-time costs for delivery, installation, and any electrical work.
• Annual electricity consumption at realistic throughput.
