A new revenue segment on 6 m² (65 sq ft) - without extra staff.
Recovery is no longer a niche topic in fitness and functional studios. Members train more often, plan their recovery deliberately, and actively ask for offerings that go beyond equipment floor space and class schedules. An electric whole-body cold chamber is a visible, clearly billable building block for this: short session duration, fixed time slots, recurring use.
For studio operations, three questions matter most: how much floor space does it take up, who operates the system, and at what point does the investment pay for itself? Electric systems work without liquid nitrogen, so there are no gas deliveries, tanks or safety clearances for consumable media. What remains are power, cleaning and maintenance as ongoing line items - figures you can calculate with.
The footprint is manageable: the chamber, access area and a short preparation zone fit into roughly 6 m² (65 sq ft), often in an unused corner, near the locker rooms or in a former storage room. The eCham home, smart, now and the eCham vita 5-in-1 run on a standard 230 V household outlet, while larger systems such as flow, pure and max require 400 V.
Operationally, the chamber can be integrated in different ways: as a single session with a per-use price, as a multi-session card, as an upgrade within a higher membership tier, or as part of a personal training package. All variants share the same advantage: they create additional visit occasions without new class space and without extra trainer hours.
We make no claims about treatment, healing or medical outcomes. This is about the application, the in-studio process and the economics - anything beyond that, your guests should discuss with their doctors as needed.
